Who We Are

Founded in 2008, American Wind Capital was established by veterans of the wind energy industry.

The team is led by Charles Hinckley, CEO. Mr. Hinckley has developed or financed over 25 power plants across the US and the world, ranging in technologies from combined cycle gas turbines to wind power. He is a founder and past Chairman and CEO of Noble Environmental Power, a wind power company that currently owns and operates 726 MW of installed wind power capacity.

Andrew Hinckley, Senior VP of Sales, leads the Company's sales and acquisition effort. Mr. Hinckley was the Director of Business Development at Noble Environmental Power and also held several Project Management roles.

Maria Klutey, CFO. Maria Klutey heads the Finance team at AWCC. She was formerly a Senior Vice President at GE Financial Services responsible for solar and biomass origination. Prior to that she spent 6 years in their Vendor Financial Services business, part of the time as CFO

Charles Aldridge, VP of Operations, heads the Company's Operations group. Mr. Aldridge worked at Noble Environmental Power since its founding both in project development and in operational roles. Mr. Aldridge previously worked for CC Hinckley Co., where he headed the operations group working on Power.

Jeff Keeler, VP of Business Development, is responsible for developing new markets for AWCC through work with large landowners, wind power developers and project owners. Jeff is an experienced wind power and energy industry professional, with over 15 years experience in project development, finance and acquisitions working with Iberdrola Renewables, Suez, and Enron Corp.

Justin Marron, VP of Acquisitions, leads the company’s national acquisition platform. Since 2001, Mr. Marron has been a successful entrepreneur and operator in several business sectors including Wireless Infrastructure, Utilities and Specialty Finance.
